Bowfin Environmental Consulting was incorporated in 2002 to provide high quality terrestrial and aquatic environmental consulting services for private and public sectors. The company is owned and operated by Michelle Lavictoire (B. Sc. Wildlife Biology and M. Sc. Natural Resources) who has worked in the environmental consulting field since 1997. Since it was established Bowfin has completed projects within Ontario, Quebec Nunavut, and Northwest Territories. This work has included natural heritage studies for lot severances, land-use development (commercial and residential development), linear development (roadways, gas pipelines, waste water and water treatment facilities), renewable resource development (solar facilities, anaerobic digestors, small hydroelectric projects and wind farms), and aggregate developments (pit and quarries).
