North Dundas has seen unprecedented growth over the last five years. Over $45 million dollars in  industrial / commercial investments have created over 100 new well-paying full-time jobs. Parmalat, an International Corporation, is situated in Winchester where it operates the largest dairy processing facility in Canada producing award-winning ‘Balderson’ cheese.North Dundas is one of the largest Agri-Food Clusters east of Toronto. It is home to Natunola, Sevita, Horst Equipment, Advanced Drainage Systems, SynAgri, Tri-County Protein, Agri-Partners as well as large farm equipment dealers selling Massey Ferguson, CASE IH, New Holland, John Deere and other brands. In addition, there are several grain elevators and numerous other agri-food related companies that make North Dundas their home.Businesses benefit from North Dundas’ sophisticated distribution, labour, communications infrastructures, its low cost environment and proximity to Ottawa. County Rd #31 connects North Dundas to Ottawa. Highways 401, 416 and 417 are only a short drive away.

You can experience live theatre, live music and movies at the Old Town Hall Theatre. The art lover will be impressed by our Art on the Waterfront Festival in June, or by visiting our local artist studios during one of the Fall Studio Tours. Don’t miss our other great events including, the Spooky Wagon Ride, the Parade of Lights, Winchester Dairyfest and the Chesterville and South Mountain Fairs.
Sports play a pivotal role in our community including minor, junior and adult hockey, baseball, soccer, bowling, curling, dance (including ballroom dancing) and figure skating. Other recreational programs including lessons and camps are offered by the Township at one of our two arenas, two outdoor pools or community halls. There are many opportunities to play in North Dundas!
