
SDG COUNTIES, Ontario - Ross Video Ltd., a global leader in live video production technology, is investing $122.5 million to expand its manufacturing and research and development (R&D) operations in Ottawa and Iroquois - strengthening eastern Ontario as a hub for advanced technology and high-quality jobs.
This significant, homegrown investment will create 125 new, well-paying jobs over the next few years while supporting more than 300 existing positions across our region. The expansion reinforces Ross Video’s long-standing commitment to eastern Ontario, where it continues to grow its workforce, manufacturing capacity and innovation footprint.

As global demand for advanced broadcast solutions accelerates, Ross Video’s investment will enhance its ability to design and manufacture cutting-edge technologies locally while serving customers in more than 110 countries. The expansion will also advance the company’s flagship Ultrix media processing platform, enabling faster, more flexible and efficient video production for broadcasters, sports venues and live event producers around the world.

Ross Video’s continued growth highlights the strength of eastern Ontario’s skilled workforce, local supply chains and collaborative business environment. By expanding its presence in communities like Iroquois, the company is contributing directly to local economic development and helping position SDG Counties as a destination for advanced manufacturing and technology investment.
The Ontario government is supporting the project with up to $6 million in funding through the Invest Ontario Fund, reflecting its commitment to fostering a competitive business environment and supporting companies that are growing and investing in the province.
