County admin building

THE COUNTIES, Ontario – The United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry announced today that it has closed the County Administration Building to the public, effective immediately.

Counties CAO Tim Simpson said the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, both locally and provincially, was a key factor in the decision.

“Our first priority is the health of our staff and the general public,” said Simpson. “We want to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 as much as possible.”

Counties staff are continuing to work during this closure and can be reached via phone and email (info@sdgcounties.ca) to answer queries and respond to requests for service.

  • Those having matters at the Provincial Offences Act (POA) Court at 26 Pitt Street are advised NOT TO ATTEND the court in person. Those with questions about court matters should call 613-933-4301.
