Leduc Hired as Economic Development & Communications Officer in North Dundas

WINCHESTER- The Township of North Dundas has announced that Anne Leduc has been hired as the municipality’s new Economic Development and Communications Officer. Anne brings experience in both economic development and municipal government that will be valuable to North Dundas.
“We are very excited that Anne has agreed to join our team, she brings a lot of experience and energy,” said Mayor Duncan. “We believe we can really take our economic development and communications successes to a whole new level with Anne on our team. She has a positive attitude and work ethic, cares about being a part of a team, and Council is looking forward to working with her.”
“I am looking forward to having Anne as a member of our team. She will be a great addition that will help us to continue to assist the developers and businesses in North Dundas while improving the Township’s Communications with residents, businesses and potential newcomers to our area.”
Anne has served as Economic Development Officer in the Township of South Glengarry and Town of Hawkesbury. She has been a respected member of the SD&G Economic Development Working Group, and has done work with the Eastern Ontario Training Board. “I am very excited to be part of the North Dundas’ team and look forward to continuing to promote the great opportunities in the Township,” said Anne.
Some of Anne’s first tasks will be meeting with the North Dundas Chamber of Commerce, Dundas Federation of Agriculture, local businesses, organizing the annual Mayor’s Breakfast, and a local food event in North Dundas later this fall.
Council and staff interviewed several candidates last month before selecting Leduc. Leduc’s first day with the Township of North Dundas is April 11th.
